The Grand Canyon is a world-famous destination that attracts millions each year. The canyon’s natural wonder is unlike anything on Earth! As you motorcoach your way to Arizona—you’ll overnight in Oklahoma and Albuquerque-- before our final destination in stunning Red Rock Country-Sedona, Arizona, for a 4 night stay in Sedona. Your first full day is a relaxing day where we will hop on an open-air trolley to see the Redrock formations and all of Sedona's "must-sees"--- such as the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Thunder Mountain, Chimney Rock, as well as the towering red rock walls of Boynton and Fay Canyons located within the Coconino National Forrest. The next day —hop on a hired adventure vehicle tour to the Grand Canyon for an even more personal expert guide for this phenomenal experience. This full day adventure will offer an unparalleled journey of style and comfort on your way to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Your certified guide will meet you at our hotel in Sedona, where you will board a comfortable vehicle as you make your way to the nearby Grand Canyon. Indulge in a boxed lunch of your choice and enjoy views through large windows as you head north. Sedona leads into Oak Creek Canyon, which is home to Slide Rock State Park and its natural rock water slide. Flagstaff, whose downtown sits along historic Route 66, marks the approximate halfway point of the trip as miles of Ponderosa pines line the way to Grand Canyon National Park. Upon your arrival, the canyon’s vast expanse lies before you at Mather Point. The Colorado River and its tributaries reveal two billion geological years. Your expert guide will share theories, facts and legends that add to the allure of the vistas and structures. See El Tovar, a hotel built in 1905 that still offers the most luxurious accommodations at the Grand Canyon. It has a rustic elegance that harmonizes perfectly with the environment. Your return trip will showcase the Arizona high county once more, as you head from the majestic splendor of the Grand Canyon back through the cool pines. It will be an experience you’ll remember for years to come.

But the Grand Canyon is just one of many highlights on this 9-day adventure out west. You’ll also discover the depths of the colors, shadows and formations of the Redrocks of Sedona ----where jaw-dropping scenery surrounds you at our luxury resort and spa. Nestled among a geological wonderland, Sedona promises to leave you breathless with its beauty! Multi-hued stone formations jut upwards from the high desert floor creating a vivid, mesmerizing setting that changes hourly with the light. When you're not at our luxury resort enjoying the spa, pool, restaurant, or stunning scenery....you'll be experiencing one of the many inclusions we've planned for you in Sedona! Among them is a 4-hour expedition on Verde Canyon Railroad’s historic route– into Arizona’s other "grand canyon." This unforgettable adventure has captivating panoramic views in every direction. This historic ribbon of rail runs through a protected corridor at the river’s edge, lined with towering red rock pinnacles, near ancient Indian ruins, over fortified bridges and through an invigorating 734-foot manmade tunnel carved through solid rock over a century ago. As far as the eye can see, wildlife, high-desert foliage and rugged terrain are visible on this year-round adventure into a lush riparian habitat. Afterward, we'll enjoy dinner at the Blazin’ M Ranch. The Blazin’ M Ranch features a Western Frontier Town which includes a full service saloon, shopping, wagon rides, and other western activities. Blazin’ M Ramblers perform as you are served up a delicious western dinner. As we begin our journey back home, our final two nights will take us through New Mexico for a night, before our final night in Oklahoma City. There we will have an exclusive Cowboy Dinner just for our group at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The museum is America’s premier institution of Western history, art and culture. See the internationally renowned collection of Western art and artifacts and understand why it is the perfect ending to our journey of the American West. We'll make our way back to Little Rock the next day, with picture perfect memories to last a lifetime!
