Discover the depths of the colors, shadows, and formations of the Redrocks of Sedona ----where jaw-dropping scenery surrounds you! We designed this as a leisurely, slower-paced tour, where driving days are shorter, and the time to relax is longer as you'll be doing it at our luxury resort and spa for four fabulous nights! We will overnight in Oklahoma and Albuquerque-- before making our way into the Petrified Forest National Park. Nature, geology, archaeology, paleontology, and architecture meet at this high-desert park. Stretching for miles and located near Holbrook in Northern Arizona, Petrified Forest National Park is a high-desert geologic treasure chest. You'll see loads of petrified wood, not to mention eye-popping views of The Painted Desert, which sweeps through the park. Then we're off to stunning Red Rock Country-Sedona, Arizona.

Nestled among a geological wonderland, Sedona promises to leave you breathless with its beauty! Multi-hued stone formations jut upwards from the high desert floor, creating a vivid, mesmerizing setting that changes hourly with the light. Our first evening in Sedona includes dinner at Sound Bites---the perfect place to relax and dine. Sweeping views of Red Rocks provide the ideal backdrop for this fun and lively venue, while the menu serves up some truly savory options. When we're not at our luxury resort enjoying the spa, pool, restaurant, or stunning scenery....enjoy one of the many inclusions we've planned for you in Sedona! Among them is a 4-hour expedition on Verde Canyon Railroad's historic route – into Arizona's other "Grand Canyon." This unforgettable adventure has captivating panoramic views in every direction. This historic ribbon of rail runs through a protected corridor at the river's edge, lined with towering red rock pinnacles near ancient Indian ruins, over fortified bridges, and through an invigorating 734-foot manmade tunnel carved through solid rock over a century ago. As far as the eye can see, wildlife, high-desert foliage, and rugged terrain are visible on this year-round adventure into a lush riparian habitat. Afterward, we'll enjoy dinner at the Blazin' M Ranch. The Blazin' M Ranch features a Western Frontier Town, which includes a full-service saloon, shopping, wagon rides, and other Western activities. Blazin' M Ramblers perform as you are served a delicious Western dinner! On another day...hop on an open-air trolley to see the Redrock formations and all of Sedona's "must-sees" --- such as the Chapel of the Holy Cross, Thunder Mountain, Chimney Rock, as well as the towering red rock walls of Boynton and Fay Canyons located within the Coconino National Forrest. In a city known for its dining and shopping, no trip to Sedona would be complete without time at Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village. Nestled beneath the shade of the sycamores on the banks of beautiful Oak Creek in Sedona, Tlaquepaque is the most distinctive Sedona shopping experience to be found in the Southwest. Authentically fashioned after a traditional Mexican village, Tlaquepaque, meaning the "best of everything," has been a Sedona landmark since the 1970s. Our time in Sedona wouldn't be complete without a visit to Sedona wine country---a completely different way to take in the colorful Sedona scenery. As we begin our journey back home, our final two nights will take us through New Mexico for a night before our final night in Oklahoma City. There, we will have an exclusive Cowboy Dinner just for our group at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. See the internationally renowned collection of Western art and artifacts and understand why it is the perfect ending to our journey to the American West. We'll make our way back to Little Rock the next day with picture-perfect memories to last a lifetime!
