We will spend 6 nights in the DC area celebrating the history of our nation and this iconic birthday! With visits to the US Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian Folklife Festival, a tour of Christ Church, and so much more- we needed a full week to partake in all of the special birthday surprises and celebrate! Then, on July 4^th-get ready for a VIP 250^th exclusive event! The day will begin with The Declaration of Independence Reading Ceremony on the steps of National Archives. Enjoy reenactors portraying historical characters, including Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, Abigail Adams, John Dunlap, John Hancock, and Ned Hector. Then to close the reading a beautiful performance of "America the Beautiful" will follow. The celebrations continue with a 4^th of July Parade filled with Marching bands, fife and drum corps, floats, military units, giant balloons, equestrian, drill teams and more. And finally, the evening will end at Top of the Town for our exclusive 4^th of July event! Known for the "best view in town" see the national monuments from above for a truly one-of-a-kind viewing experience. Enjoy views of the fireworks via the panoramic floor to ceiling windows and outdoor deck from this exclusive events vantage point. Dinner will be included here tonight as we take in the dazzling firework show with the best view in town.

We continue our tour with a deep dive into the lives of two of America’s most notable Revolutionary icons. Visit Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, as well as, George Washington's Mount Vernon, Distillery, and Masonic National Memorial. You’ll stroll along the same streets George Washington walked in Old Town Alexandria and discover historic taverns and distilleries, and immerse yourself in the lives and locations of two of our Nation's founders.
