Embark on an unforgettable 11-night expedition to the Channel Islands National Park, where you will discover the rugged beauty of the rocky coasts and towering sea cliffs. Delve into the depths of Painted Cave on a boat ride into one of the largest and most vibrant sea caves in the world. Journey to Big Bear for an exclusive glimpse into the rich history of this beloved mountain oasis. Immerse yourself in the glitz and glamour of Hollywood with a movie studio tour. Experience the excitement of Las Vegas with a two-night stay, and be mesmerized by a visit to The Sphere. Join us on this thrilling expedition to the Channel Islands, where every moment promises to be filled with wonder and excitement. And getting there is half the fun!

We'll depart Little Rock for two overnight stops, sightseeing along the way before we get to Las Vegas for two nights. While in Las Vegas we will visit The Sphere-- the largest spherical structure in the world, which means it has plenty of room for impressive features! This is the new eye-popping must-see Vegas attraction and is sure to mesmerize your senses. Then we're off to the Channel islands, spending the next three nights at our waterfront hotel in Ventura, California. The Channel Islands is one of North America's magnificent treasures-- close to the California mainland, yet worlds apart. Explore dramatic sea cliffs, grassy headlands and rocky islets. It harbors the biologic diversity of nearly 2,500 miles of the North American coast, and is home to over 2,000 plant and animal species, of which 145 are found nowhere else in the world! Experience a short but exciting ocean voyage to one of the least visited of all of America's national parks. While on our ocean voyage our boat will go inside Painted Cave--a sea cave on Santa Cruz Island within Channel Islands. This sea cave is gigantic, making it the twelfth largest sea cave in the world and the second largest in the USA. It is 1227 feet in length and has an entrance over 130 feet high! The only way we get to the cave is via our boat. When we're not enjoying this national treasure, you'll be relaxing at our waterfront hotel in our prime location near Venture Harbor! Plus a day in California wouldn't be complete without walking in the footsteps of your favorite actors. We'll go behind the scenes of your favorite movie and tv shows and put you right in the middle of the action with a Los Angeles studio tour that would make any film buff go nuts!

After our three nights on the west coast and just 3.5 hours inland is our next stop ---Big Bear Lake, a spectacular mountain oasis and alpine forest. The valley is home to bears, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, and rare plants, some indigenous to the area, where sweeping views of the San Bernardino peaks await. While in Big Bear, we'll board Big Bear Valley's one-of-a-kind tour boat on breathtaking Big Bear Lake for a fully narrated 90 minute guided tour featuring highlights of Big Bear's rich history dating back to 1845. Hear fun facts, folklore, celebrity sightings, and much more. Our included cruise is the perfect way to discover the town from the water. But that's not all. We'll also take a trip on the Scenic Sky Chair. Imagine soaring above the treetops, breathing in crisp mountain air, and taking in panoramic views of stunning landscapes. This isn't just a dream - it's the reality of Big Bear's Scenic Sky Chair Lift. This exhilarating adventure offers us a unique way to experience the beauty of Southern California's mountains, making it a must-try for anyone seeking an unforgettable outdoor experience in Big Bear.

After Big Bear, we’ll venture out to nearby Joshua Tree National Park. Long honored, fanciful, and yes, even strange, the Joshua Tree is one of nature’s most peculiar and distinctive creations. Surrender yourself to their mystical qualities in this dreamy California national park. Crafted over millions of years by torrential rain, battering wind, and extreme temperatures, Joshua Tree National Park stretches over nearly 800,000 acres of rugged terrain. These landscapes, which can seem deceptively barren, are home to several ecosystems. With a stunningly stark, bewitching beauty, it’s easy to fall under Joshua Tree’s spell.

After our time in California, we'll make our way back to Arkansas, stopping for two overnights with some sightseeing and mystery stops along the way! We hope you'll join us on our expedition to the Channel Islands! Price includes all motorcoach transportation and Little Rock Tours guide, hotel accomodations for 12 days/11 nights, 11 meals (6 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 3 dinners); Channel Islands National park Ocean Voyage, The Sphere Las Vegas Show, Ventura Harbor Village. behind-the-scenes movie tram tour, Big Bear Lake Cruise, Big Bear Scenic Sky Chair, and much more!
