Experience the Smokies in the Spring, where the season is absolutely captivating! There are over 1,500 flowering plants in Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and many of them reach their peak in April. Our 5 day/4 night tour is relaxing —as all 4 nights will be in beautiful Gatlinburg, Tennessee—the jewel of the Smoky Mountains. We include a day trip to the amazing Biltmore, notable for being the largest privately owned house in the United States. Built by George Vanderbilt in the late 19th century, the French Renaissance château is a prominent example of Gilded Age mansions and a popular tourist attraction… boasting 175,000 square feet of floor space, with 250 rooms, including 35 bedrooms and 43 bathrooms. And in April the Biltmore is in full bloom! Seasonal Tulips and Daffodils steal the show in April, seen in beds at the estate’s entrance, in the Walled Garden, and in Antler Hill Village. The Redbuds, Serviceberry, and Flowering dogwoods also show plenty of color, and the Azalea color intensifies, becoming a glorious tapestry of hues.

And speaking of color…who is more colorful than the Smokies own Dolly Parton? That’s why we include a day in Dollywood to see the all new "Dolly Parton Experience." Feel as if you were alongside Dolly as she journeyed to stages around the world. The Dolly Parton Experience includes exhibits which span her iconic career, with three distinct experiences, each uniquely crafted to tell Dolly's story like never before. Our day in Dollywood has plenty of other adult experiences. See an artisan village to watch various crafts being made, enjoy a variety of performances from gospel to country, or ride the relaxing Dollywood Express, a scenic ride on a steam train for beautiful views of the park and the surrounding Smoky Mountains. You can even observe the resident bald eagles in Eagle Mountain sanctuary. We’ll also enjoy a scenic tour of Smoky Mountain National Park, and a dinner show that will leave you laughing!
